Last year’s participant in the competition in PGE Ekstraliga is doing badly in its backroom. Arged Malesa occupies the last place in the league table and for now it is the main candidate for relegation. It would be a shock, because before the season it was said that the league would be a rivalry between Falubaz and Polonia, but if anyone is to thwart the plans of these two, it will be Arged Malesa. Life brutally verified these assumptions and Ostrów for a completely different purpose at the moment.
There are a lot of problems in the team, because basically everyone is driving below expectations and you could expect more from everyone. The fans are also fed up, who openly write that they are ready for the worst, i.e. relegation. Recently, they were hit hard by a defeat in Poznań, because the local PSŻ is actually the main rival of Ostrów in the fight for relegation. Losing these points can be very painful at the end of the season. They may be missing.
Coach says weird things. has enough?
The behavior of coach Mariusz Staszewski has been puzzling for some time, who first spoke a lot about his possible departure, which had not happened before. It already made you think. Now, in public, he can criticize himself, point out mistakes and say, for example, that he lacked courage. It’s rather a rarity among coaches, and Staszewski’s statements are also not frequent and common.
Perhaps, therefore, the coach himself is already suffocating in this environment and, in a way, gives grounds for resigning from it. It looks a bit as if Staszewski was simply discouraged and helpless. He has experienced and titled players in the team, but the problem is that they are not going. Staszewski certainly does not want to be the face of a possible catastrophe, which would be relegation from the league. Maybe this is how he wants to show that he’s burnt out? The facts are that his words definitely make you think.
