The federal government has announced that it will help children who have lost both their mother and father to the Corona virus outbreak across the country through its BM Cars fund.
Following this, a total of 6,098 applications were received for the benefits. Of these, 3,481 children’s applications have been approved and the Federal Government has decided to offer the concessions of the BM Cars Fund.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Women and Child Development:
A total of 6,098 applications were received by the District Collectors for the Department of Women and Child Development. Of these, 3,481 applications have been accepted and it has been decided to offer concessions to them.
Bank accounts have been opened in the post offices in their name. Through those accounts, the federal government will provide incentives, including financial assistance to those children.
The central government has decided to provide Rs 2,160 per month for children in hostels and Rs 2,000 per month for children not in hostels.
