The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia announced the terms of social security in the Hijri year 1443 for the new employee.
The social security system is a system provided by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia that includes a sum of money that is disbursed on a monthly basis to the beneficiaries and beneficiaries of the security.
The Ministry is working to disburse these financial amounts from the Zakat funds collected from companies and institutions, as part of the Ministry’s endeavor to provide financial support to those entitled to comply with the announced conditions.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development also aims to improve the standard of living of employees, as well as the poor groups whose need for financial support is proven.
It is noted that the financial services provided by the Ministry, such as Social Security 1443, are limited to some cases of Saudi citizens only, who were previously identified in the social security system.
Conditions for obtaining support
The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has set a number of conditions that must be met by the new employee in order to obtain the financial support provided by the new guarantee program.
The conditions include that the employee applying for financial support must be a Saudi national and have a permanent resident within the Kingdom, except for the non-Saudi female employee married to a Saudi man.
It also excludes from the nationality condition an employee who is widowed or divorced and has children who hold Saudi nationality, and employees with disabilities who hold mobility cards.
It is also required that the employee’s income not be less than the minimum pension, which is equivalent to 1100 Saudi riyals for the employee, and 550 riyals for any member of the employee’s family, in addition to the employee not owning any financial assets of significant value.
The conditions include the necessity of matching all the conditions and criteria in the executive regulations to the employee while owning or using wealth, so as to improve the distribution of the material support granted to him.
Also, the necessity of complying with all the requirements of the Ministry of Human Resources related to the status of the beneficiary of the guarantee, including (social services – health status – educational status).
The employee shall not be residing in one of the accommodation centers of the Saudi government, and this includes social care centers, hospitals, health centers, prisons, and others.
Social security conditions for the employee’s wife’s entitlement
The conditions of social security for the employee’s wife’s entitlement to obtain support include that the husband does not abandon her so that she cannot know anything about him, and in the case of the husband’s absence, it must be due to travel or what is included in that, and the family should not be unsuspended or dependent, and the husband should not be It has been proven that he is addicted to any drug or alcohol.
How to register in the social security system
The ministry specified the method of registration for citizens who benefit from the social security system, by following several steps, and it is done through the official website of the social support and protection platform, and the login process is performed by entering the user name and password, and in the absence of a previous account, click on the registration icon new.
All data requested by the site must be accurately entered, including the identity number and date of birth according to the Hijri calendar, and the method of communication such as the beneficiary’s phone number.
After entering the phone number, the visual verification code is entered in the space designated for it, and all required documents and papers supporting the validity of the data are attached and sent.
