“I went to the banks of the Ganga on March 26 to worship. On the night of March 26, I first worshiped. Gopichand was present there at that time. After worship, I sacrificed a chicken, along with 2-3 Killed him with an ax, then threw him into the Ganges.

“I had taken Rs 1.5 lakh in cash from Constable Gopichand to get his wife killed. Transferred Rs 1 lakh 90 thousand to my account. I had given the rest Rs 2.5 lakh earlier. I had taken a total of Rs 6 lakh. Don’t give this money back. That’s why I killed him. I am feeling remorse.
Made Gopichand lie down with eyes closed, then attacked
Tantrik Ganesanand told the police that he made Gopichand lie on the ground after worship and closed his eyes. It is said that Siddhi will not be fulfilled if the eyes are opened. After this, he was killed by hitting his neck with an ax. The dead body was thrown into the Ganges. Broke the number plates of mobile and bike and threw them in the river.
Constable had an affair, so wanted to get his wife killed
According to the police, Head Constable Gopichand was having a love affair with another girl. The wife was becoming an obstacle in his love story. Gopichand used to think that he would not be able to marry his girlfriend if he had a wife. That’s why he had given money to a tantrik to kill his wife.
The police had arrested the accused Tantrik from Hastinapur.
Came home on March 26, then went missing
Sepoy Gopichand was a resident of Pohalli village in Meerut. Came home on March 26 after taking leave. He had taken leave till 8 April. After staying in the house for some time, he left. Then there was no trace of him. The family searched. But didn’t get the information. After this, on March 30, Gopichand’s wife Rekha filed a missing report at Sardhana police station. On April 12, Gopichand’s bike was found abandoned in Sirjepur village of Hastinapur.
However, the police could not find any clue of Gopichand’s murder. A week ago, Gopichand’s wife Rekha and brother-in-law Aditya went to meet SP Dehat Kamlesh Bahadur. Then brother Aditya expressed doubt that Gopichand used to go to Hastinapur to meet a monk. Even on March 26, stayed at home for only 15 minutes. Then had left after saying that he would go to Baba. After this, the police caught the tantrik and questioned him strictly, then the whole matter came to light.
