Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today presented a new cabinet, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey went to Hakan Fidan. On this occasion, Fidan received ministerial colleagues from Azerbaijan, France, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), Ukraine, Estonia and Sweden, reports Anadolia.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov congratulated Fidan on his Twitter and wished him success in his new post.
Bayramov expressed his belief that fraternal and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey will strengthen, and in his message he thanked former minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and wished him success in the future.
Catherine Colonna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, shared a congratulatory message in Turkish on her Twitter.
“Congratulations Mr. Hakan Fidan. See you soon in the continuation of cooperation between France and Turkey, especially in areas such as peace and regional stability, dialogue within NATO and global problems,” said Colonna.
Tahsin Ertugruloglu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the KKTC, also sent a congratulatory message to Fidan on Twitter.
“I wish Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan success in his duties. I firmly believe that we will resolutely continue on the path of advancing our national cause. Happy ‘Century of Turkey’,” said Ertugruloglu.
A congratulatory message also arrived from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dimitar Kuleba.
“We are looking forward to cooperation and further development of the strategic partnership of two friendly countries”, said Kuleba, and added:
“I congratulate my dear friend and great ally of Ukraine, Hakan Fidan, on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. I am grateful for your commitment to bringing just and lasting peace to our region. I wish you strength and success in your work for the development of your country. I wish best of luck to you in this extraordinary mission.”
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna congratulated Fidan on Twitter and said: “Turkiye is our ally and we look forward to working with you.”
The Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tobias Billstrom, also congratulated Fidan in a post on his Twitter and pointed out that they are looking forward to good cooperation between Turkey and Sweden.
