New Delhi. The issue of Purvanchal is a hot topic in Delhi Assembly elections. All the parties are making every possible effort to win over this big vote bank in their favor. Allegations and counter-allegations between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the opposition regarding this issue are also intensifying. Meanwhile, Congress is attacking both the parties (BJP and AAP).
In this context, Bihar Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh has given a big statement. He said that if Congress government is formed in Delhi, Chhath festival will be celebrated like Kumbh. Akhilesh Prasad Singh said that both BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have insulted Purvanchalis. BJP national president JP Nadda compared the people of Purvanchal to Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators.
Akhilesh said that after buying a ticket of Rs 500, these people come to Delhi for treatment. Akhilesh said that if Congress government comes to power, he can also become the CM of Purvanchal. He also reacted to Tejashwi Yadav’s statement. He further said that his statement was in the context of Delhi. I have spoken to him, I want to make it clear that the alliance of Left, Congress and RJD will contest the elections strongly in Bihar.
He said that when our government comes, Chhath festival will be celebrated in the national capital on the lines of Kumbh. For Chhath festival, a place will be determined on the banks of Yamuna and declared as a district. The ghat of Yamuna at this place will be named after folk singer Sharda Sinha. BJP and Aam Aadmi Party ignored Purvanchali voters. Seen him only from the point of view of vote bank.
