The Ministerial Committee composed of the Ministers of Industry of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries approved the recommendation of the Standing Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade of the Council States to continue imposing final anti-dumping duties on imports of electric savings (groups) with a capacity of 35 amps if they are rectangular. or squared with lead and acid, of the kind used to start motors with pistons (automobile batteries).
The Office of the Technical Secretariat for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade in the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, through the official bulletin of the Office of the Technical Secretariat, published the decision of the Ministerial Committee to continue imposing final anti-dumping duties against imports of the GCC states of the “car batteries” product.
The Director General of the Office of the Technical Secretariat for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade, Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Muhaideb, stated that the decision of the Ministerial Committee to adopt the recommendation of the permanent committee came based on the reports of the Office of the Technical Secretariat for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade in the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, after studying all aspects of the investigation stages. According to the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, all the comments of the relevant parties and the interest participating in the investigation were taken into account.
