On Tuesday, 2956 Kovid cases were detected in Maharashtra. The previous day, 1885 cases were registered in the state. That means more than double the number of Kovid cases registered here within 48 hours.
According to a recent report by BJ Medical College in Pune, four people in Maharashtra have been diagnosed with BA5 variant. The four were identified as from Mumbai, Pune, Thane and Navi Mumbai. All of them were women between the ages of 19 and 36. All of them were diagnosed with corona between May 26 and June 9. At present, their health is stable, according to the Maharashtra government.
In Maharashtra, 8,14,28,221 corona tests have been done so far. 79,19,442 or 9.73 per cent are positive. In Maharashtra, 77,52,304 people (97.89 per cent) recovered from Kovid. The death rate was 1.86 per cent.
In the last 24 hours, 1375 corona positive cases were reported in the national capital, Delhi. The positivity rate crossed 7 per cent. There are currently 3643 active cases in Delhi. As far as the country is concerned, 8,822 Kovid cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. There are currently 53,637 active cases in India. The weekly positivity rate is 2.35% while the daily positivity rate is 2%.
