- Corona and omicron cases increasing in AP
- The High Court has issued key directions
- Trial of cases in virtual mode
The AP judiciary, which operates under the control of the High Court, the High Court Legal Services Committee, said the virtual approach applies to the arbitration center. On the other hand, lower courts, tribunals and labor courts are also held in a virtual manner. It is learned that the trial of the cases continued online even after the corona first wave and second wave erupted.
On the other hand, the Telangana High Court also took a similar decision. As the corona spread in Telangana increased, the division stopped direct inquiries in single benches. In his personal capacity, the judges held that a direct hearing could be held in strict compliance with the Kovid rules. Online or offline trial is left to their discretion. If the judges wanted to hold a direct hearing, the plaintiffs, along with their lawyers, would have to follow Kovid’s guidelines, wear masks, and follow sanitation and physical distance rules.
