Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is the United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate from the Wayanad seat, while she is facing the challenge from Communist Party of India (Marxist) Communist Party (CPM) candidate Satyan Mokeri and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance. Wayanad seat became vacant after the resignation of Rahul Gandhi.

He is also maintaining a steady lead. Priyanka Gandhi has got 68917 votes. She is leading from Communist Party of India’s Satyan Mokeri by 48239 votes.
