Faridabad: A modern hospital and medical college with 2,600 beds is being constructed at a cost of Rs.6,000 crore on 130 acres of land in Faridabad, Haryana, on the Delhi-Madura road by Mata Amrithanandamayi Mutt. The hospital is operational with 500 beds in the first phase. There is also a helicopter pad on the top floor of the hospital building.
This hospital will become the largest hospital in India in the next 5 years. It was inaugurated yesterday by Prime Minister Modi in the presence of Mata Amrithananda Mai.
