But in this case it is because of the coronavirus. The Basque has tested positive for covid, so their meeting, initially scheduled for this Thursday at 11:00, will move to Monday of next week.
The meeting was part of the round of contacts being carried out by the Popular Party, in which for now it has only obtained the support of the extreme right of Vox, with its 33 deputies.
But to the PNV’s repeated non-compliance, the coronavirus now seems to give Feijóo respite. The Galician will foreseeably have the support of the Unión del Pueblo Navarro and the Canarian Coalition. Together with Vox they have 172 deputies, four of those necessary for the absolute majority.
