The Martín Fierro Latino Awards is an event that recognizes the best of Latin American television and radio, organized by the Association of Television and Radio Journalists of Argentina (APTRA). At this event, the Peruvian program ‘Hablando Huevadas’ won the award for Best Streaming Channel, beating important competitors in the region.
However, the hosts of the program, Ricardo Mendoza and Jorge Luna, were conspicuous by their absence at the ceremony. Instead, Cristian Zuárez took the stage to receive the award and took advantage of the moment to express his affection for Peru. In addition, he announced that he will present the award to the drivers personally during his next visit to Lima.

The 2024 Martín Fierro Latino Awards brought together great exponents of television and radio in a ceremony that celebrated Latin American talent. In this edition, ‘Hablando Huevadas’, the successful program of YouTube hosted by Ricardo Mendoza and Jorge Luna, stood out by winning the award for Best Streaming Channel.
Despite this important achievement, the drivers were not present at the gala to receive the recognition. It was Cristian Zuárez, Argentine singer and ex-partner of Laura Bozzo, who represented the team and took the stage. “I am Cristian Zuárez, Argentine, but I represent a country that I love very much, which is Peru. This goes with you ‘Hablando Huevadas’, with much love for all of Peru, thank you,” he expressed during his speech, generating applause and recognition for his message.

Since their launch on YouTube, Jorge Luna and Ricardo Mendoza have managed to conquer millions of followers thanks to their irreverent humor and originality.
The journalist Ronen Suarc host of the gala, highlighted the success of the program and mentioned one of its most impressive milestones: filling Madison Square Garden with its last show. This achievement not only marked a before and after in the drivers’ careers, but also positioned the program as one of the most influential Peruvian projects internationally.
Through Instarándula’s Instagram account, Cristian Zuárez confirmed that he will travel to Lima on Wednesday, November 27 to present the award to the drivers. “Hello Samuel, on Wednesday I arrived in Lima with the award for ‘Hablando Huevadas’. Greetings,” he commented in a message that quickly went viral among the program’s followers.
