Çukurova University “1.5 Adana Elketromobil Team” became the champion in the International Efficiency Challenge (EC) Electric Vehicle Races, the 19th of which was held in Kocaeli between 25-29 April this year by TÜBİTAK as part of TEKNOFEST. Rector Prof. Dr. Meryem Tuncel shared their excitement by accepting the champions in her office.
ATTENDED WITH 2 VEHICLES
Çukurova University 1.5 Adana Electromobile Team participated in the International Efficiency Challenge (EC) Electric Vehicle Races, in which 60 university teams found successful in their Technical Design reports, participated this year with 2 vehicles in the Electromobile and Hydromobile categories.
The 1.5 Adana T8 vehicle, which participated in the races in the electromobile category, won the Board Special Award and received a 30,000 TL award. The 1.5 Adana H2 vehicle, which was entitled to take to the track for the first time in the Hydromobile category this year, became the Turkish Champion in the International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races and won a prize of 100,000 TL.
THEY RECEIVED THEIR AWARDS FROM SELÇUK BAYRAKTAR
Both award-winning vehicles were exhibited at the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. Rector Prof. Dr. Meryem Tuncel congratulated Çukurova University 1.5 Adana Electromobile Team, which received the championship award from TEKNOFEST Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar. Meeting and chatting with the champions in the Rectorate, Prof. Dr. Tuncel stated that young people’s interest in science and their success are very happy and proud, and that their support will continue to increase.
