Currency turmoil in Srikakulam district Counterfeit currency notes were found in the district headquarters (Srikakulam) on Friday. On the new bridge in the city, some unidentified people were dumping currency notes. As they were being washed away by the wind on the road .. people were thrown to take them without knowing that they were fake. With this, the traffic would have stopped for a long time. Police arrived and cleared the tropics. So the people who took the counterfeit notes first .. then laughed when they found out that it was counterfeit. They dumped them there and left. Police suspect it was the work of thugs.
