Cynthia Martínez, widow of the renowned Peruvian musician Pedro Suárez Vértiz, shared this weekend an unpublished anecdote about her marriage during an interview with the Día D program. Martínez’s confession surprised the followers of the national rock icon, by narrating one of the few episodes of jealousy that he experienced in his relationship with the artist.

According to him, this incident occurred several years ago, when the couple already had their first daughter, Maria Jose . Pedro Suárez Vértiz, who then made constant presentations, offered a concert in Punta Hermosa. After the presentation, Cynthia Martinez He decided to go to the dressing room to see him, but upon arriving he found an unexpected scene.
“He was a chibola, I think he only had María José, and this beautiful girl comes into the dressing room to greet him, like everyone else,” Martínez began to narrate. “I came in with my friend La Mona and I see her touching Pedro’s hair. I stood in the middle of the two, they both ignored me, they went into the dressing room and closed the door,” he added.
Given what happened, Cynthia Martínez decided to leave the place, although she did not do so without first making an impulsive decision. “I told La Mona ‘we’re going to Lima,’” he recalled. However, Pedro Suárez Vértiz did not take long to come out after her to clarify what happened.
