380 free classes will be provided
The Active Parks project will run from December 30 to January 26. As part of this, 380 free exercise training programs will be organized for the general public, officials said. The new fitness program aims to prevent lifestyle diseases and enable people to achieve better physical fitness by developing exercise habits. The four-week event is jointly organized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and the municipalities of Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain City and Al Dafra.
Dance, Yoga, Exercise- Everyone can participate

As part of the Active Park Fitness program, a variety of events are organized for all ages over 15 years of age. There will be a variety of exercise programs such as dance fit, run fit, boot camps, cross fit and yoga. Exercise programs are also available for those who are physically challenged. Programs are led by expert trainers. A detailed schedule of training classes is available on the Active Park website. People will also have the opportunity to share the progress made through exercise through Active Park’s social media accounts.
Exercise programs in city parks

All major parks in cities, including Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, will be part of the Active Park. Madinat Zayed, Al Ruwais Park-2, Al Mirfa National Park in Al Dafira, Al Jahili in Al Ain, Al Tuwaya Parks, Khalifa City Park-3, Sheikh Fatima Park, Dolphin Park, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Park, Electra Park, Al Shangha Park Exercise events will be held at -4, MBZ Park and other major open areas.
Aim for happiness through health

Mohammed Hilal Al Balushi, the project’s executive director, said the project aims to promote happiness in the community by adopting healthy lifestyles. The event is part of the Abu Dhabi government’s plan to activate sports activities in the community.
