Now the first case of this virus (HMPV virus) has been found in India also. The virus was found in an 8-month-old child in Bengaluru. The child was admitted to the hospital due to fever.
The virus named HMPV, which spread in China, has knocked in India. Its first case has come to light in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Here HMPV virus has been detected in an eight-month-old girl. Although the Health Department has not confirmed this, but a report has come from a private hospital. Let us tell you that HMPV is usually detected only in children.
The Indian government is also alert about this and an advisory has also been issued. After detection of the virus (HMPV virus), the health department said that it was not detected in their lab, this case came to light in a private hospital. The symptoms of this virus are usually similar to the common cold.
In normal cases it causes cough, sore throat and runny nose. HMPV virus infection can become serious in small children and the elderly. This virus can become a serious threat in people whose immune system is weak. Apart from this, symptoms like difficulty in breathing are also seen in patients infected with this virus.
