Due to a data leak in the app that Forum for Democracy launched this weekend, the entire membership administration is on the street. That reports RTL News. According to the channel, this concerns the private data of 92,901 members and former members, including names, residential addresses, telephone numbers and account numbers.
According to RTL Nieuws, e-mail addresses, dates of birth and location data can also be viewed and requested by everyone. You can even see since when someone has been a member, whether they have paid dues and how much.
Forum says it is ‘investigating’ what exactly happened. “And whether data may have been stolen unlawfully. As a precaution, we have temporarily taken sensitive system components off the air.”
The party further says: “We also contacted our lawyer, Mr. Gerard Spong, who confirmed that hacking and computer trespassing are criminal offenses.”
Party leader Baudet is also screwed by the leak. His private email, 06 number, home address and IBAN can all be seen. The same applies to the other MPs of Forum, such as Gideon van Meijeren, Pepijn van Houwelingen and Freek Jansen. Just like Willem Engel, the foreman of the defunct Virus Truth.
The data of former members can also be found, such as Joost Eerdmans, Annabel Nanninga, Henk Otten, Wybren van Haga and Eva Vlaardingerbroek.
