Pan India heroine Samantha starrer ‘Sakunthalam’ movie is getting ready for release. The shooting of this movie directed by Gunasekhar has already been completed. Currently the post production work is going on. A few days ago the trailer of Shakuntalam movie was released. Shakunthalam movie is going to release on February 17 worldwide.

As the days are getting closer to the release of Shakunthalam movie, the film unit has stepped up the promotions. When Samantha attended the recently held Shakunthalam trailer release event, she got emotional on the stage and shocked everyone. It is known that last year Samantha said that she was suffering from a chronic disease called myositis. After that, Samantha, who stayed away from media and public for many days, did not even attend Yashoda’s movie events.

While this movie is going to be released as a Pan India movie, this is the second Pan India movie starring Samantha.
