Daughter’s death.. Father who demanded compensation of Rs. 1000 crore, what happened?

VyaA man approached the Bombay High Court claiming that his daughter lost her life because of Xin. They demanded to pay Rs.1000 crore as compensation. The court received this petition and issued notices to the Vaccine Manufacturing Company (SII) as well as the Centre, Government of Maharashtra and the Drugs Controller General of India. The petitioner was ordered to respond to the allegations.

Snehal, daughter of Dilip Lunawat from Maharashtra, is a medical student. Studying in Nashik, she took the covid vaccine in January 2021. A few days later, she fell ill. Her family admitted her to the hospital after she started having severe fever and vomiting. Doctors found that Snehal was bleeding in the brain. She passed away on March 1 last year as her condition worsened while undergoing treatment.

On the complaint of Snehal’s father, AEFI (Committee on Post-Vaccine Adverse Effects) under the Central Government conducted an investigation into the incident. The report was given on October 2 last year. Dilip Lunawat filed a petition in the Bombay High Court alleging that the vaccine was the cause of his daughter’s death. Attached is the AEFI report. A bench consisting of Justice SV Gangapurwala and Justice Madhav Zandar heard this petition.

On August 26, notices were issued to the vaccine manufacturer, the Central Government, the Maharashtra Government and the Drugs Controller General of India. The next hearing was adjourned to November 17. There is a lot of excitement over the verdict of this case.
