Ghora road accident in Uttar Pradesh. A vehicle carrying pilgrims from Haridwar hit a tree. Ten people died on the spot and seven others were seriously injured in the accident on Thursday. They were rushed to hospital.

The injured passengers were rushed to the district hospital. Five of them are being treated at the district hospital. Both were referred to Bareilly. This was confirmed by the concerned authorities. “Ten people were killed and seven others were injured in a DCM vehicle accident while returning from Haridwar at 4:30 am this morning. Ten of the 17 died on the spot. Five were being treated at the district hospital. Two were referred to Bareilly. We contacted their families.” Said Pilibhit District Magistrate Pulkit Khare.
CM Yogi Aditya Nath reacted to the tragic incident on Twitter. CM Yogi Adityanath said on Twitter that it was very sad that so many people died in the accident. Authorities were instructed to carry out relief operations expeditiously and provide treatment to the injured. He tweeted that he was praying to Lord Rama for peace for the souls of the dead and speedy recovery of the injured.
