“Gold, brown, purple and other body colors can reduce the cost in the used car market and increase the sale time. Orange, blue, green, red, gray, beige, pink also reduce the chances of a quick and profitable sale, ”said a representative of the center.
It is noted that yellow cars are 20% cheaper because there is a possibility that they were involved in the taxi business. The same goes for white cars.
However, there are exceptions. For example, this applies to cars of anniversary series, which are painted in unusual shades. Such used cars always keep a high price in the market, the dealers added.
On the eve it was reported that in Russia cars of popular brands aged from three to five years can be purchased for an average of 1.3 million rubles.
The lowest median cost was recorded for Lada cars (750 thousand rubles), followed by Chery (950 thousand rubles), Volkswagen (1.1 million rubles) and Ford (1.2 million rubles). The brands with the highest median cost were Toyota (2.5 million rubles), Nissan (1.6 million rubles), specialists of the service for buying and selling cars online SberAvto reported.
