For all “Eberhofer” fans there is a rendezvous with venison ragout – but SHE preferred bones…
Eva Mattes (“The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant”), once the muse of the great Rainer Werner Fassbinder (1945-1982), has been celebrating her cinematic reunion with Sebastian Bezzel since Thursday.
Twelve years determined the two as Crime scene inspectors Blum and Perlmann at Lake Constance. 2016 was over. Now they can once again be seen together in a film: in “ Rehragout-Rendezvous” (in the cinema), the ninth “Eberhofer” thriller based on the bestsellers by Rita Falk (59).
The “Eberhofer” stars Simon Schwarz, Lisa Maria Potthoff and Sebastian Bezzel (from left) with Tanja May (BILD reporter, 2nd from left) and six readers who won tickets for an exclusive preview with BILD
Bezzel is again the Bavarian cult policeman, Mattes plays Mooshammer-Liesl, an extremely bizarre hippie woman who is described as “quirky and sloppy” – and also looks exactly like that.
The character already appeared in “Leberkäsjunkie” (2019), now she allies with the grandma played by Enzi Fuchs (86) vom Eberhofer – against him!
A parade role! And one with a bite! Because in one scene, Mattes fervently gnaws on a greasy chicken thigh – and eats the bone right away!
I’m sorry, what? Meat and bones? Yes! And the bone that Mattes eats as Mooshammerin was actually REAL!
Eva Mattes on BILD: “When we shot the scene, I spontaneously ate the bone. It wasn’t a big deal. And by the way, it’s also very digestible. I always say: I can gnaw off bones better and cleaner than any dog.” Wow!
Incidentally, no one was surprised at her great appetite for playing. Mattes: “It’s also no secret that I like to gnaw on bones. I even do it with great passion!”
And we? We definitely have an appetite for more!
