Three postponed matches will be held from the 19th round of the ADNOC Professional League, bringing together Al Jazira with Khor Fakkan, Ajman with Al Bataeh, and Baniyas with Sharjah. Ironically, the three matches are of interest to the Emirates team, which hopes that the results will serve it and obtain a morale boost in the race to “escape” from relegation.
While the Al Jazira, Ajman and Sharjah teams are playing matches with the aim of improving their positions in the ranking table, the Khor Fakkan, Baniyas and Ajman clubs will have a good opportunity to stay away from the struggle of “escaping” from relegation, especially since their competitors have no incentive or specific goal other than providing a good performance and finishing. Season in the best way possible.
Khor Fakkan’s position is considered the most difficult, as it will be a guest on Al Jazira at 18:10 pm at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, as the “Eagles” have 20 points in 12th place, while “Abu Dhabi Pride” has 27 points in seventh place.
Khor Fakkan hopes to overcome the shock it received in the last two matches, after tying with Ajman, before the Disciplinary Committee decided to calculate the result of the match in favor of the “Orange” with three goals without a response due to an administrative error, then it lost to the substitutes of the Al Ain team with a goal without a response.
The visiting team clashes with Sahwat Al Jazira, led by French coach Gregory, as “Abu Dhabi Pride” stopped Al Wasl’s series of victories by drawing with them in Zabeel 2-2, before achieving victory in the 22nd round over Bani Yas with an unanswered goal.
On the other hand, Ajman will play a decisive match at home against Al-Bataeh at 18:10 pm at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, as the “Orange” seeks to avoid entering into the calculations of the upcoming rounds, and decide its position on staying early.
Ajman has 24 points in ninth place, while Al-Bataeh is in eighth place with 26 points, as “Orange” tied with Hatta in the 22nd round without goals, while “Eagles” lost to leaders Al-Wasl by four goals to one.
Finally, Baniyas will face a thorny confrontation against its guest, Sharjah, at 21:00 pm, as “Al-Samawi” occupies tenth place with 22 points, while “Al-Malik” is in sixth place with 31 points. Baniyas aspires to the same scenario by deciding its fate on its own, and staying away from calculations of escaping from “relegation” to the first division, while Sharjah seeks to improve its results and regain the memory of victories.
For its part, the Emirates team is awaiting the results of the three matches, following the awakening that the team experienced in the past rounds, by obtaining six points in the last four matches it played, by drawing with Sharjah, Hatta, and Al Wahda, then its victory over Ittihad Kalba, raising its score to 14 points, and remaining with two postponed matches. And it has mathematical chances to stay away from the 13th place, which relegates its owner to the first division.
