Regarding the Union Budget, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said: It is unfortunate that the budget for education has been reduced from 2.64 percent to 2.5 percent. The reduction in health expenditure from 2.2 per cent to 1.98 per cent is detrimental.
Last year the people of Delhi paid Rs 1.75 lakh crore as income tax. Of this, only Rs.325 crore has been allocated for the development of Delhi. Delhi is looked after with a step-motherly attitude. It is unfair.
