Senior advocate AM Singhvi is appearing for Sisodia. The Supreme Court bench also posed several questions to Additional Solicitor General (ASG) SV Raju, representing the CBI. A bench comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti asked the question.
He also asked whether there is any evidence against Sisodia other than the statement given by Dinesh Arora, the accused in the case. Later, the accused surrendered and pleaded guilty and got bail.

The court held that it was difficult to produce complete evidence as the transaction was conducted in secrecy. The court pointed out that that is where ED and CBI should show efficiency. The court also expressed its displeasure at the addition of the accused in the case related to money laundering of the former chief minister.
