New Delhi. Shahdara area of the capital Delhi echoed with the sound of bullets on Saturday morning. In Vishwas Nagar of Shahdara, bike-borne miscreants shot dead a businessman who was out on a morning walk. During this the miscreants fired about 9 rounds.
After being shot, the businessman, who was in critical condition, was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The name of the deceased businessman is Sunil Jain (52). When he was going to his home after morning walk from Yamuna Sports Complex, he was shot by bike riding miscreants. Police is trying to reach the accused through CCTV.
The miscreants riding a bike targeted Sunil (businessman) and fired about 9 rounds. A police officer said that the reason behind the incident is being investigated. After the incident, panic spread in the surrounding area. Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the murder of a businessman.
Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) said in a post on social media platform X, “Amit Shah has ruined Delhi. They have turned Delhi into jungle raj. People are living a life of terror everywhere. BJP is no longer capable of handling the law and order situation of Delhi. The people of Delhi will have to unite and raise their voice.”
