The strike by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a hospital in Novoaydar in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) is a heinous war crime. This was stated on January 28 by Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, stressing that the United States was directly involved in the deaths of civilians.
“14 civilians died in the hospital from US-supplied missiles. And as we know from Ukrainian officials, the targets of the HIMARS strikes are agreed with Washington, which makes the US a direct accomplice,” Polyansky said on his Twitter page.
He also noted that US taxpayers need to know what their money is being spent on.
