“Desert Group” champion of “tug of war” in the labor session

The “Desert Group” team won the title of the tug-of-war tournament, which is held within the fourth edition of the labor sports tournament organized by the Dubai Sports Council, in cooperation with the Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs in Dubai, strategic partners, Dubai Police and Dubai Municipality, and is held under the slogan “Happiness is our goal.” . Team Emrill won second place in the tug of war, and Al Naboodah team finished third. The championship competitions were held amidst a massive audience in Al Quoz Park from the 8th to the 15th of this month. At the end of the event, cups and medals were distributed to the winners of the first places, and gifts and prizes were distributed to the fans present in the tournament. The prizes were distributed by Abdullah Lashkri, Secretary of the Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs in the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to the representative of the Dubai Sports Council.

The championship competitions will continue until March 31, 2023, and its competitions will be held in several locations in Dubai, and it includes 10 sports: football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, arm wrestling, yoga, tug of war, cricket, road racing, and swimming.
