Saudi Arabia plans to build zoos at a cost of 39 crore riyals. The ministry hopes that the new scheme will create many investment opportunities. It is planned to build five large zoos in Jeddah and Riyadh. However, four medium-sized zoos are under construction in Madinah and Buraidah. It is planned to build seven small zoos in Abha and Jeezan.

It has been decided to give an area of 50 hectares and an investment of 5.30 crore riyals for large zoos. However, 15 hectares and an investment of 1.10 crore riyals will be provided for the construction of medium-sized zoos. The small zoo is planned to be built on an area of 10 hectares.
Expenditure on entertainment will increase from 2.9 per cent to 6 per cent. With the completion of Vision 2030, there is going to be huge development in the country. In addition, the Saudis have big plans to attract young people. It has also decided to implement new schemes to attract young people below 30 years of age.
