Maharashtra. Maharashtra has got a new Chief Minister today. Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time today. The swearing-in ceremony was organized at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar met Governor CP Radhakrishnan on December 4 and staked claim to form the Mahayuti government.
Before the swearing-in ceremony, Amrita Fadnavis, wife of Devendra Fadnavis of Maharashtra, said, “It is a beautiful day when Devendra ji has become MLA for the sixth time and for the third time he has got the post of Chief Minister. We are happy about it but the feeling of responsibility is even greater.”
PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, CM Chandrababu Naidu were present in the swearing-in ceremony. Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh attended the oath ceremony of Maharashtra government in Mumbai. Sachin Tendulkar was present at the swearing-in ceremony of Maharashtra government (Devendra Fadnavis) along with his wife Anjali and Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla. UP CM Yogi Adityanath also attended the swearing-in ceremony.
During the swearing-in ceremony of (Devendra Fadnavis) at Azad Maidan, programs by Marathi musician Ajay Atul were also held. When the guests arrived, people danced vigorously to the music. Groups of women also reached the function from many districts. However, opposition leaders were not seen at the swearing-in ceremony of the Mahayuti government. According to the information, MVA leaders have boycotted the function. Invitations were sent by the government to all the opposition leaders including Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray.
