Chaturveda Havanam that the nation and the state should be prosperous
TTD EO Dharma Reddy said that for the first time Chaturveda Havanam was held in the premises of the TTD administration building in Tirupati to wish the nation and the state to be prosperous and happy. The seven-day long Chaturveda Havanam ended grandly with Mahapurnahuti on Wednesday. It is said that 32 Rutviks recited four Vedas every morning in this Havan, which was organized for Lokakalyanam. It was explained that in the evening religious discourses were given by prominent scholars and fine music and dance programs were organized under the auspices of SV Sangeet College. He said that the residents of Tirupati participated in these programs. On this occasion, thanks were expressed to the officers, scholars and ruthviks who organized the Chaturveda havana well.
TTD JEO Sada Bhargavi said that Chaturveda Havan was organized in Tirupati under the auspices of Sri Venkateswara High Vedadhyayana Sanstha as part of Dharma campaign. Along with TTD employees and residents of the city, through live broadcast of SVBC, devotees from all over the world watched this Havan and informed that they have received the grace of Swami. He said that similar havanas will be held in more areas in the future.
The pioneers of Chaturveda Havanam Shri Chirravuri Sri Ramasharma said that the havan was organized to provide peace, attention, intelligence, fame and wisdom to the people of the country. It was informed that homams were performed for the grace of the deities with Veda mantras of five branches. It is said that due to such havanas, welfare of the whole world will be achieved.
