The event host Deysi Araujo was very sorry for the situation that José María Barraza’s ex-partner is going through and affirmed that she had a similar experience when she was abandoned by the father of her son.
“I was very sorry, I sympathize with her (Andrea Muñoz) because I went through the same thing, I raised my son alone, I had a pregnancy alone and yesterday when I heard (her story on the ‘Magaly TV, the firm’ program) , tears came to my eyes because it reminded me of my youth. I was quite young, I got pregnant at 19 and my son’s father left. I lived in a rented room, my son’s father ignored me”, he expressed in an interview with Trome.
“His family deceived me, they told me that he had gone to the United States and I cried because bringing a child into the world alone is difficult. I came from the province and lived in a small room by myself. For me, the world came crashing down on me,” she added.
How did Deysi Araujo manage to raise her son?
“At that time I remember that I bought a cart with my savings and began to sell breakfasts in the market with my tummy. I would wake up at three in the morning and go to work. And when (her son) was born, I also went to work selling breakfast with my son on my back. I was not going to allow my son to lack something. What’s more, I didn’t even give birth in a clinic, my delivery was in the little room where he lived, the ladies who lived next door took care of me,” he explained.
