In the scene, Deyvis, played by actor Mario Cortijo, receives a call from Clarita, president of the Grupo Néctar fan club, informing him of the tragedy. Disconcerted, the young man tries to confirm the news on television and is devastated to discover that his father and the other members of the group had died.
One of the most shocking moments of this episode is when Deyvis faces the dilemma of how to break the news to his mother, Eva, played by Carolina Infante. The moving scene shows Eva falling to the ground upon learning of her husband’s death, portraying with great realism the pain that the Orosco family experienced on that tragic night.

On that occasion, the Peruvian group was traveling to La Plata, after a successful concert at the “Mágico Boliviano” venue. The vehicle in which they were traveling suffered a mechanical failure, which caused the fatal outcome that left Peruvian music in mourning.
