Kollywood hero Dhanush, who has been known to Tamil and Telugu and Hindi movie audiences since time immemorial. He has been doing films in Tamil and Hindi languages till now. But now it is known that he is doing a straight Telugu movie. That movie is ‘SIR’. Venky Atluri is directing this film which is being made in Telugu and Tamil. This film is titled Sir in Telugu and Vaathi in Tamil. The film is jointly produced by Suryadevara Nagavanshi and Sai Saujanya under the banners of Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
On the occasion of hero Dhanush’s birthday on July 28, SIR First Look was released on Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM. If you look at the first look… Dhanush is sitting in the library and writing something under the light of a study lamp. His look looks very different. The talk is that Dhanush is going to be seen in the role of questioning the flaws in the education system. Also, as tomorrow is Dhanush’s birthday, the makers said that they are releasing the teaser at 6 pm.
As this is Dhanush’s direct movie in Telugu, there are good expectations. Dhanush already has a good craze in Telugu. Dhanush focused on Tollywood as there was a good market for his dubbing films in Telugu. Already there is a good market for heroes like Rajinikanth, Suriya, Vishal and Vijay in Telugu. It is known that Kollywood’s top actor Dalapathy Vijay is also doing a film called Varasudu in Telugu and Tamil languages. Dhanush also joined this list. Cinematography is provided by Dinesh Krishnan who has worked on films like ‘Soodhu Kavvam’, ‘Sethupathi’, ‘Tegidi’, ‘Mr Local’ and ‘Mara’. G.V. Prakash Kumar is composing the music for this film.
