Sai Sudarshan scored 96 runs off 47 balls and was the top scorer for Gujarat. Chennai needed 171 runs in 15 overs to win under the Duckworth-Lewis rule due to rain. Ravindra Jadeja took Chennai to victory by hitting a six and a four off the last two balls bowled by Mohit Sharma.
Rajasthan is fifth
With Sanju Samson as the captain, one of the favorite teams of Malayalee fans, Rajasthan Royals finished fifth in the IPL 2023 season. Their record was seven wins and a draw each out of 14 matches. After winning four of the first five games of the season, Rajasthan suffered a setback in the second half. They have won only three of their last nine matches.

Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill had a dream performance in the 2023 season of IPL. Gill, who scored 890 runs in 17 games, won the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs. Faf du Plessis is second in the run chase with 730 runs.
Gujarat Titans’ Mohammad Shami won the purple cap for taking most wickets. The player took 28 wickets in 17 games. With 27 wickets, Gujarat’s Mohit Sharma came second in the wicket-taking.
