Dil Raju: To watch the movie ‘Balagam’ Rs. 3500 charge.. Dil Raju clarity on new business

The movie ‘Balagam’, directed by Venu Yeldandi, has penetrated the masses through word of mouth. But Dil Raju Productions sold the rights of this movie to Amazon Prime Video. Currently, the shows are not showing in theaters as streaming has started on OTT platform Prime Video. In the same order, a new trend has started in Telangana villages. Until now, if the audience wanted to watch the movie through theater, OTT, TV, now they are watching the movie in mass for free with the help of projector at Rachbandala. But Dil Raju’s complaint to Nizamabad SP saying that this comes under piracy is controversial. A large scale trolling started on him on social media. Raju recently held a press meet with the movie team to give clarity on this.

Dil Raju answered the question why he did not ask for tax free for the movie ‘Balagam’ which was made in the background of Telangana culture. He countered that if the people in the towns are watching it for free, then why is it still tax free. Now if you want to watch a movie in any town, we will arrange that facility. On this occasion, he mentioned about an ad that is being spread on social media. Rs. An ad was shown to everyone saying that Balagam movie will be shown if they pay 3500 digital charges. It means that someone else has started a business with this movie. With this money, projector and other facilities are being set up.

Dil Raju said that the film has penetrated so much among the people. He said that it is his preference that more audience should watch this film. He said that the name we are getting for this film is enough. We don’t need money. Moreover, he said that what would be more happiness is if there is a change in the society through his film. He made it clear that such happiness cannot be bought with money. But he said that due to giving the film rights to OTT, there will be some legal problems.. He said that his legal team filed a complaint due to the pressure from them. Apart from that, Dil Raju has made it clear that they have no intention of stopping the film screenings.

Meanwhile, the film ‘Balagam’ won four awards at the international level. It won awards in the Best Drama Feature Movie, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress categories at the Onkyo Film Awards, Ukraine. Earlier, it bagged two awards at the Los Angeles Cinematography Awards.
