Apple CEO Tim Cook was accompanied by Lisa Jackson, Apple’s vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives. Google CEO Sundar Pichai was joined by his wife Anjali Pichai at the state dinner, while Sam Altman was accompanied by partner Oliver Mulher. Satya Nadella and his wife Anu Nadella, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani reached the White House.
The Prime Minister praised the role of Indian Americans in the development of the country and mentioned that they have played a crucial role in strengthening the India-US relationship. The Prime Minister did not forget to appreciate the officials of the White House who invited eminent persons in various fields for dinner.

Due to Prime Minister Modi’s dietary restrictions, the menu of the state dinner consisted mostly of vegetarian dishes. Grilled corn kernel salad, mushroom dishes, strawberry shortcake, squashes, tangy avocado sauce, and more were included. More than 400 guests were invited to a dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden in a specially decorated pavilion on the South Lawn of the White House.
