University professor Cherkaoui Al-Roudani said on Saturday that, thanks to the direct social support program launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco is witnessing a “true social revolution,” characterized by a new generation of social contracting between the state and citizens and the strengthening of solidarity.
In a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press, Mr. Al-Roudani stressed that this program represents a historic moment in consolidating the foundations of the social state and a decisive step in building a Morocco of progress and dignity in line with the vision of His Majesty the King.
In this regard, he highlighted the fundamental and tangible improvements that this program will bring to the lives of the Moroccan population, noting that it will also contribute to the fight against poverty and fragility and will improve the country’s social and humanitarian development indicators.
The university professor believes that direct social support workshops constitute an investment in human capital that concerns childhood from an early age, supports the most vulnerable groups, improves access to education and health, reduces spatial disparities, and guarantees a regular income for families that depend on seasonal activities.
Thus, Al-Roudani adds, Morocco has laid the foundations for a more equitable and sustainable national social policy, in full harmony with the enlightened vision of His Majesty the King, which is characterized by investing in the present for a promising future.
He stressed that this social policy, which is characterized by solidarity, restores confidence and hope for greater social stability in the future.
