New Delhi: A BJP MP has asked the Speaker to take disciplinary action against Rahul Gandhi for making baseless allegations in Parliament linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and businessman Adani. Nishikant Dubey wrote the letter.
Yesterday, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had alleged in the Lok Sabha that due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s favoring of industrialist Adani, the value of Adani’s assets increased to a huge extent. In this case, the BJP MP said that since Rahul Gandhi has not submitted any evidence for his accusation, disciplinary action should be taken against him. Nishikant Dubey has written to Speaker Om Birla. In it, he said: “Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, while participating in the vote of thanks on the President’s speech, made baseless, slanderous and defamatory allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He did not provide the House with any evidence for his allegation. Therefore, he has led the congregation freely. He has violated the rules of the council. Therefore, disciplinary action should be taken against him,” the letter stated.
Rahul Gandhi yesterday spoke on the motion of thanks for the President’s speech. His speech: “When I went on the India Unity Yatra, I heard what people were saying. I spoke to many groups like children, women and old people. Through this we were able to learn various things. For the youth, the biggest problem they face is unemployment. Many of them are auto drivers as they cannot find suitable jobs.
There was no mention of unemployment or inflation in the President’s speech. From Tamil Nadu to Himachal Pradesh, there is only one name. Its name is Adhani.
