New DelhiAt the time of formation of Modi 3.0 government, 71 ministers took oath of office and secrecy. Now the departments of these ministers have been divided. The departments have been divided among the members of the Union Council of Ministers on the advice of the Prime Minister (PM Modi) on behalf of the President of India.
The ministers have started taking charge of their respective ministries from Tuesday, the day after the distribution of ministries among the ministers in the Narendra Modi government at the Center on Monday evening. Union Minister S. Jaishankar has taken charge as Foreign Minister, Bhupendra Yadav has taken charge of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, Giriraj Singh has taken charge as Textile Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav has taken charge as Railway and Information and Broadcasting Minister.
PM Narendra Modi holds the portfolios of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space as well as all important policy issues and all other departments which are not allocated to any minister. Union Minister of State Kirtivardhan Singh has also taken charge as Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Suresh Gopi as Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas.

After taking charge in the ministry, Jayant Chaudhary introduced himself to all the officials, after which he held a meeting with the officials and said that he will prepare a 100-day action plan. It is worth noting that Modi’s third cabinet is very strong. PM Modi has already given strict instructions to the cabinet ministers that they should not come to show their face in front of him, but work.
