A young man from Saidganli village in Amroha district was solemnly married to a young woman from Asmoli in Sambhal district on Wednesday (January 4). The girl had to be divorced within an hour of her marriage. After that, she was given to the groom’s brother and the girl was remarried. This incident has become a local topic of discussion.

After the marriage, while making arrangements to take the bride home in a procession, the groom’s first wife entered. While he was there, there was a lot of commotion saying how will he get married for the second time. It kept coming and followed the police. This has become a language there.

The young man was married to a woman from his own village less than 4 years ago. However, after a few days of marriage, due to quarrels, she left her husband and went to her native house. He has not returned to his mother-in-law since then. The man waited for four years to see if his wife would change her mind, he prepared for his second marriage under pressure from them at home.

He got married to a young lady from his neighboring district on Wednesday morning. When the first wife came and stopped him, he had no answer. The police took the relatives of the bride to the station asking how he gave the girl away when he was already married and had a wife. From time to time, the elders held a panchayat to see where there would be trouble with the police case.

The elders advised the young man to immediately divorce the second wife and take the first wife to Kapura. He decided to marry his second wife on the same stage with his younger brother. Both sides agreed to that and the conflict was settled. All night the girl stepped into her room.
