Diwali Asthana according to Tirumala Temple

Celebrating Diwali in Srivari Temple. From 7 AM to 9 AM in the Ghanta Mandapam in front of the golden porch, the temple priests conducted the Diwali Asthan. As part of the Diwali Asthana, Sri Malayappa Swami along with the Deveras performed the venchep in the Sarvabhupala Vahanam arranged in the Ghanta Mandapam facing the Garudalwar. Sri Vishvaksen, the army chief, was also enshrined on another peeth to the left of the Swami, facing south. After that, the priests performed special puja, harati and prasada for the Swami. With this, the Diwali temple is completed.. On the occasion of Diwali, at 5 o’clock in the evening, Sridevi and Bhudevi along with Sri Malayappa Swamy will participate in the Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva. TTD has canceled Kalyanotsavam, Oonjal Seva and Arjita Brahmotsavam services due to Diwali festival. The Tomala and Archana services were conducted privately by the temple priests. Moreover, VIP break darshans were cancelled.. Only protocol VIP break darshans were allowed.
