Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar met Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday morning and night. Nothing came out of both the meetings.
DK not ready to accept
Earlier on Wednesday, there were reports that DK has agreed with the Deputy CM, Karnataka Pradesh Congress President and two ministries. The high command wants to make Siddaramaiah the CM and they had placed three formulas in front of DK. Now news has come that they have not agreed on anything.
The script of the Karnataka government being written in Delhi this morning kept changing hour by hour. DK told the high command – they can win 20 to 22 seats in the Lok Sabha.
DK-Siddha had a meeting with Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday morning, but could not reach a consensus. After this, the preparations for the swearing-in in Bengaluru were stopped. Earlier, DK had said that if Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is made the Chief Minister, then he is ready to work under his leadership.

DK Shivakumar is holding a meeting with his supporters in Delhi. Supporters are being asked for their opinion, because after the formation of the government, they will also have to adjust in the ministries. However, the source has confirmed that DK will not rebel under any circumstances. They may agree on Siddaramaiah’s name in next 2 to 3 hours with some of their conditions.

He was told that in view of the Lok Sabha elections, Siddaramaiah should remain the CM. He can take two big portfolios along with Deputy CM, KPCC President.

After this, the Congress President had asked the observers to have a one-to-one talk with all the MLAs. Of these, more than 80 MLAs voted in favor of Siddaramaiah.
