Chennai: On this day in 2013, the Indian cricket team won the ICC Champions Trophy series. It is noteworthy that since then the Indian team has not won a title in the series conducted by the ICC till date.

Dhawan won the Man of the Series award in the series. He is also the highest run batsman in this series. He had accumulated a total of 363 runs. Jadeja (12 wickets) shone as the highest wicket taker.
