Because at first glance it does not appear in the pages of the newspaper ad, it seems to most people. An advertisement for a Sherwani shop in Kolkata has gone viral. The debate is over whether this ad is pure creativity or bad taste.
The ad is similar to the Sherwani brand ‘Sultan’ announcement ‘Sultan’. “Tall, handsome and handsome, about 24 years old – my beloved son Majnu is missing, please come back home. Everyone is very upset,” the first part reads. There is also a photo of a handsome young man. According to the advertisement, the family accepted the young man’s request to marry Laila and wear a sherwani from the Sultan of Sherwani.
The rest of the ad is about the ‘missing young man”s family agreeing to go to the brand’s outlet in New Market because of the parking facilities and for the whole family and close friends to buy kurtas from the Sultan for the wedding reception. At the bottom of the ad, the outlet’s address, phone number and Facebook page details are added. Isn’t that smart advertising?
But the response to the ad was mixed. While some praise the heads behind the ad, some feel that this kind of advertising is immoral and creates a bad example.
