This morning, Wednesday, Saudi Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, inaugurated the Corona Vaccine Center in the gymnasium, in the presence of the Director of Health Affairs in Jeddah, Dr. Mishaal bin Misfer Al-Siyali, and a number of health leaders, as part of the national campaign to combat the Corona virus.
The inauguration of the center comes due to the increase in the number of those who are coming to take the vaccine, and the increase in the demand for registration in the “My Health” application, in order to expand the work space, and increase the volume of accommodating those wishing to receive the vaccine daily, thus facilitating the citizen and resident’s access to the vaccine with ease.
The center was equipped with all basic services, and with a design that allows receiving large numbers of beneficiaries in an organized and easy way, as the center includes 60 clinics, and the expected capacity will reach 15,000 thousand beneficiaries per day, and the center is working with an elite of specialized medical cadres and crews in line with precautionary and preventive measures.

In a related context, the Saudi Minister of Health inspected this morning, East Jeddah General Hospital, accompanied by the Director of Jeddah Health and the leaders in Jeddah Health. In addition to the Respiratory Care Center, the Minister listened to a detailed explanation of the services provided to patients and the efforts being made to serve them. He also visited the General Medical Authority and was briefed on its work progress, in addition to the Corona Vaccine Center at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah.
