Tirumala: Recently a video was taken using a drone camera in the restricted areas of the Tirupati Eyumalayan Temple. Many people alleged that this would pose a threat to the security of the temple. In this situation, Dharmareddy, Chief Administrative Officer of the Devasthanam in Tirumala, spoke to the media yesterday:
Due to security reasons, permission for drone cameras will be canceled in Tirumala. A formal announcement regarding this will be made soon. We are in talks with Bharat Electronic Limited (Bell) to bring the belongings of the devotees safely from Tirupati to Tirumala and then deliver them back to the devotees safely.
For the first time in the history of Devasthanam, we have reported both movable and immovable assets through a white paper. Similarly, 7,339 kg of gold was deposited in various government banks in 2019. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is helping many poor people in education and medicine. Thus said Dharma Reddy.
