The Technical Committee of the Dubai International Skydiving Championship held a meeting in the presence of the Director of the Supreme Organizing Committee, Yousef Al Hammadi. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee and Chairman of the Technical Committee, Mohammed Yousef Al Mazmi, at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council.
Yousef Al Hammadi stressed the importance of commitment and concerted efforts to achieve optimal organization and maintain everyone’s safety, wishing all committees, especially the technical committee “Backbone of Championship,” success in performing their duties.
The speakers focused on security and safety factors and the necessity of checking all facilities at the two sites, “Sky Dive” for the water skiing competition and Al Sufouh, for target accuracy.
Muhammad Youssef Al-Mazmi confirmed after the meeting that the German Vice-Chairman of the Technical Committee, Helmut Schlach, and his compatriot, Chairman of the Referees Committee, Axi, discussed focusing on the requirements and supplies of arbitration at the two sites, “Skydive and Al-Safouh”, the timing of the tournament, security and safety factors, and all technical matters that contribute to the work of the technical committee and then the tournament. in general.
Al-Mazmi praised the efforts made and already completed regarding the delegations’ rest during the daily competitions at the Skydive Club. He also praised the facilities provided by the Golden Tulip Media Hotel, the residence of the participating delegations.
